Playtime was important!

Toys

Lenora had no shortage of toys, although she pre-dated the internet so her entertainments were not digital. She dabbled in just about everything, but it was the nerdy or the mysterious that best kept her interest.

Pictured to the left, in the first row is cat's cradle, the string game, and the classic ouji board. Of course there were legos, and Lenora delighted in the beautiful shapes made by the kaleidescope.

She was fascinated by the möbius strip, and she made many of them over the years from different materials. The chemistry set was also a top favorite.

Later on, she mastered the Rubik's cube, and until her death she wore a 1970's-style mood ring.
